Farm Community Defense Foundation
Mission
The Farm Community Defense Foundation is a non-profit organization created to expand public awareness about small family farms, growing food, and keeping farmland. In addition, the foundation academically helps under-privilege school-age children. Our educational and charitable activities are:
Educate
* To educate citizens on environmental issues
* To educate citizens on the production of farm food and how to buy food directly from community farmers
* To educate small farmers on how to sustain and preserve ownership of their farm
Rural children are part of our future and have the capacity to learn and compete.
Children
* To provide tutoring scholarships to at-risk children and put them back on the academic track.
* Highlight the value in using small farms to grow and sell food to the local community
