2018 Scholarship Announcement!
The Farm Community Defense Foundation solicits applications for the 2018-year scholarship award. The application should reach the foundation office from April 20, 2018 to May 16, 2018.
The scholarship program is for underprivileged children who are at-risk of failing academically from K-11 grade. The scholarship provides for tutoring children in varies subjects by certified instructors to put them on a solid academic track. A candidate should be from the southern part of Alabama with a desire to want to learn more. Candidates in low income households from the farm communities will receive the highest priority. The scholarship award arranges from $200.00 to $500.00 in tutoring fees. The winners of the awards will be announced by May 30, 2018.
